While Talkspace services offer care with a personal provider, Talkspace Self-Guided is a self-directed therapy app designed to help build a healthier, happier you. It empowers couples, individuals, and parents to take progress into their own hands, in as little as five minutes a day.

To get started: 

  1. Download Talkspace Self-Guided from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
  2. Open the app.
  3. Tap Next through the onboarding and create an account.

TIP: If you've already got a Talkspace account, you'll need to create a separate account for Talkspace Self-Guided.

How much does Talkspace Self-Guided Cost?
Talkspace offers a 7-day free trial for you to experience the Self-Guided app before committing to a purchase. Should you choose to continue, the Self-Guided subscription is available at $29.99 per month.

You're welcome to use Talkspace Self-Guided with your current therapist regardless if they're from Talkspace. Using Talkspace Self-Guided with a therapist is an effective way to make the most of the resources in the app.

An easy way to introduce your therapist to Talkspace Self-Guided is to tell them you've come across a self-guided counseling app that complements the work you're doing together. Ask your therapist if they're open to using it with you throughout your sessions. Therapists are usually happy when clients initiate their own ideas for what they want to work on and how they want to do it.

We recommend choosing a Talkspace Self-Guided session or two together with your therapist before your next therapy appointment. At your next appointment, you can go through the Talkspace Self-Guided session with your therapist or talk through what you completed before coming.
