Is Talkspace covered by insurance?

While Talkspace isn’t available through Medicare or Medicaid, we are partnered with a number of employers, U.S. health plans, Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), and educational organizations to make therapy more accessible and affordable. Visit Ways to Pay for Talkspace Therapy from our blog for more information on how you can cover the cost of getting the help you need.

To see if you're covered for psychotherapy or psychiatric care before you sign up, check out our current partners online, contact your benefits department, or call the member services number on the back of your insurance card.

Your health plan may cover prescribed medication, but keep in mind that specific questions about your eligibility, benefits, or prescription costs must be directed to your health insurance provider.

No coverage? If Talkspace isn't covered by your insurance, it might be helpful to know that some Talkspace clients use a credit or debit card for their subscription and then submit the bill to their Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or Health Saving Account (HSA) plan administrator and receive 50-90% of the cost of Talkspace back.

Check in with your FSA/HSA provider to confirm what information they need to accept the bill. How can I receive an invoice (superbill) for services? will guide you through how to request an invoice from Talkspace.
