- Go to our homepage and click Get Started, or download our mobile app (iOS or Android).
- Answer some questions about what brings you to Talkspace so we can get you expertly matched.
- Enter your email address, create a password, and verify your email address.
- You'll also be asked to set up two-factor authentication for added security.
- That's it! Your account is ready to go.
You can add insurance or employer coverage at any time by following the steps in How do I apply/update my coverage on my existing Talkspace account?
FSA/ HSA Reimbursement | It might be helpful to know that many Talkspace clients whose insurance benefits do not cover our services sign up for an out-of-pocket account and submit receipts to their Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or Health Saving Account (HSA) plan administrator to request and potentially receive reimbursement.
Talkspace collaborates with a number of U.S. health insurance providers, organizations, employers, and Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) to bring online therapy to you.
Before signing up, we recommend contacting your benefits provider directly to verify your eligibility for Talkspace services and learn about any potential out-of-pocket costs you may be responsible for. You can also check out our list of current partners to see if we are partnered with your benefits provider.
Once you have confirmed you are eligible for Talkspace under your benefits provider, you can sign up for an account by going to our homepage and clicking Get Started.
Please note that all Talkspace accounts must be registered under the name of the individual receiving the services. Accounts should reflect a client's first and last name, email address, date of birth, and other personal details. If you're a dependent of the primary policyholder eligible for Talkspace services at no or partial cost, you can enter the primary policyholder's employer or benefits provider information when prompted.
After completing registration and creating your account, you can download and use our mobile app (iOS or Android) to engage with your therapist.
After your coverage ends, you can choose to continue services at Talkspace by signing up for self-pay subscription, which would be paid out of pocket.
