How do I pause my subscription?

Clients can pause their Talkspace subscription for a 7-day period, at any time. We recommend temporarily pausing your subscription if you will not be able to use our services for a short period of time. If you have a time-based subscription, your billing date will extend by the number of days your subscription is paused—that way, you won't lose time with your provider and won’t be paying for any unused time.

Keep in mind that this pause will end automatically, so it's a good idea to set a reminder for yourself to check back in if you need to extend.

If you'd like to pause your subscription for longer than 7 days, reach out to support@talkspace.com for assistance with this.

Follow the steps below to place your subscription on a 7-day hold:

Ending Your Pause Early | If you'd like to restart your paused subscription early, follow steps 1-3 above and click the Resume therapy button on the Payment and plan page to resume services.

If you receive our services through your employee or medical plan benefits and want to take a break from Talkspace or your provider is going on a short vacation, you will not need to do anything on your end. Your plan is not impacted by pausing since you may have limited authorization windows or are only charged for sessions you authorized within your room.
