Areas outside our scope of care

It's important to receive care that truly fits your needs. While we offer support for many mental health needs, some conditions require more intensive, in-person treatment and are outside the scope of our services. These include:

Active substance use or early recovery requiring detox. Once you’ve reached a stable and sober state, you may be able to use our services for continued care, provided you don’t need controlled substances.
Formal autism assessment. While you're welcome to discuss symptoms and potential medication options with a Talkspace provider, you should connect with your primary care physician for further evaluation or a referral to a specialist.
Hallucinations
❌ Psychosis
