Managing and Deleting Your Personal Data and Account

To update or remove your personal information, or to delete your account, please complete the appropriate data request form below. This helps ensure your data and account are managed in accordance with privacy laws such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable US state laws.


Which data request form to fill out?

Please fill out the appropriate form based on your location:

Through the form, you can request to:

  • Access the personal data that Talkspace holds about you.
  • Object to the processing of your personal data for certain purposes.
  • Restrict the processing of your data in specific circumstances.
  • Receive a copy of your data in a portable format (data portability).
  • Delete your personal data.
  • Delete your account and remove associated notifications/messages.
  • Delete chat histories with your provider (note: your medical records will still be retained due to healthcare regulations).
  • Remove marketing or advertising data.
NOTE: If you have never completed a session or used Talkspace services, please contact privacy@talkspace.com directly to request data or account deletion. If you have completed a session, please complete the appropriate form.

Where and how to submit the completed form?

Once you have filled out the appropriate data request form, email your submission to  privacy@talkspace.com. Please make sure to attach both of the following:

  • The completed data request form.
  • A copy of your photo ID.

If you have any questions about your request, simply reply to your original email to follow up.
