What Is Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)?

Two-factor authentication (2FA) is a security feature that adds an extra layer of protection to your account. With 2FA enabled, you’ll need to provide two things when signing in:

  • Your login credentials (email and password)
  • A 6-digit verification code sent to a trusted phone number or email

To set up 2FA, look for the "Enable two-factor authentication" prompt at the top of your room.

Once 2FA is enabled, it can't be disabled. If needed, you're able to update the phone number and email used for 2FA by following the steps in this article: How Do I Change My Nickname, Email, Password, and Phone Number?
