What is two-factor authentication (2FA)?

Talkspace takes the privacy of our members seriously. To protect the personal information of our clients and prevent unauthorized access to their accounts, we require new clients to enable two-factor authentication (2FA) at sign-up.

To successfully log into your account after enabling 2FA, you'll have to enter both the 6-digit verification code sent to a trusted phone number and your login credentials (the email and password used to create your account).

Once 2FA is set up, it cannot be disabled. If needed, you're able to update the phone number used to receive your 2FA code by following the steps outlined in this article: How do I change my nickname, email, password, and phone number?
