Using Sponsored Benefits from My Employer, School or City for Talkspace

Talkspace partners with numerous employers, organizations, educational institutions, and city health departments to enhance access to therapy and promote wellbeing in workplaces and schools. If your school, city, or organization directly covers Talkspace, your benefits may include:

  • Individual therapy
  • Couples therapy
  • Psychiatry

Through this partnership, you’ll receive Talkspace services at no cost, including unlimited text messaging therapy and/or a set number of live sessions per month or year, depending on your benefits. Live session credits may refresh monthly, expiring after 30 days if unused, or annually for use anytime during the year.

Signing up for Talkspace with Sponsored Benefits
To use and sign up with your sponsored benefits for Talkspace:
  1. Check if Talkspace is covered through your benefits

    Verify your eligibility by contacting your benefits provider to confirm the following:

    • Your eligibility for Talkspace services.
    • The service(s) you're eligible to receive (e.g., Individual therapy, Couples therapy, Psychiatry).
    • Whether your benefits extend to your dependents and family members.
    • The link to your organization's unique landing page where you can sign up for Talkspace.
    • The information you’ll need to verify your eligibility during registration (e.g. your organization’s name, or a keyword, voucher code, email address, etc.).

  2. Sign up for Talkspace

    If you already have a Talkspace account, add your sponsored benefits by updating your coverage in an existing room, or adding a new service.

    After confirming coverage, sign up following these steps:

    1. Open the link to your organization's Talkspace landing page.
    2. Click on Get Started.
    3. Enter your organization name, keyword, voucher code, email address, or other details to validate your coverage.
    4. Complete the rest of the prompts to finish creating your account.

  3. Confirm if your coverage is applied correctly

    Log into your account and verify that you’ve signed up under the right coverage by following the steps in Where Can I Find Details About My Talkspace Plan, Payment, and Coverage?

  4. Download our mobile app

    If you’d like, download and use our mobile app (iOS or Android) to engage with your provider!

How do I renew my sponsored benefits for more Talkspace sessions?
If your coverage is nearing expiration and your sponsor (employer, school district, or other organization) has extended their partnership with Talkspace, you'll receive a prompt in your room to revalidate your benefits.
