Can I Call or Skype My Talkspace Provider?

To protect your privacy and ensure HIPAA compliance, all communication with your Talkspace provider must take place on the Talkspace platform. We don't support outside calls or sessions through personal phone numbers, Skype, FaceTime, Google Hangouts, Zoom, or other third-party services.

With a Talkspace account, you can connect with your provider on the platform in the following ways, depending on your specific plan:

  • Send messages to your provider: Send text, audio, video, and picture messages in your private therapy room. 
  • Join live sessions: Meet with your provider through secure, real-time virtual sessions on the Talkspace platform. Depending on your plan, you can choose a live chat, audio, or video session. If you prefer not to be on camera, you can select a chat or audio session, or simply keep your camera off during a video session. This flexibility lets you connect with your provider in the way that feels most comfortable for you.
