To start services with Talkspace, whether for individual therapy, couples therapy, or psychiatry, each person must create their own account. This ensures that every participant can give direct consent to receive care, which is required for our providers to deliver services in accordance with clinical guidelines.

On the day of your live session, each person should:
- Log in at www.talkspace.com or on the Talkspace app.
- Go to the room where the session is scheduled.
- Click the Join Session button, which will appear in your chat room 10 minutes before the session. If you don’t see the button, try refreshing the page or restarting the app. You can also find additional tips in this guide: Live Session Troubleshooting.
- Enable audio and camera permissions on your device so your provider can hear and see you for live audio and live video session.
- You're ready to begin your session!
