How Do I Restart Service or Reactivate My Closed Room?

This article will guide you in picking up where you left off—whether you're returning after a break, reactivating a closed or inactive room, or continuing care with new coverage.

To restart service at Talkspace: 

  1. Log in at www.talkspace.com or on the Talkspace app.
  2. Open your closed room.
  3. Look for a banner at the top of the room.
  4. Select the banner below that matches what you see for next steps.
"Restart Therapy" banner

If you see a "Restart Therapy" banner, click it and follow the prompts to restart service.

TIP: If you didn't proactively cancel your room or service, it’s likely your room was closed due to inactivity (e.g., no messages sent, or no sessions scheduled for 14+ days). To keep your room active, try to stay engaged by messaging your provider or scheduling sessions regularly.
"Resubscribe to continue therapy" banner

If you see a “Resubscribe to continue therapy” banner, click it to restart with your current payment method or coverage.

If you need to use a different payment method or coverage, you can restart service by adding a new service instead.

No banner

If you don’t see a banner but instead see a message like “Restart therapy to chat…” in the message box, you’ll need to restart service by adding a new service to your account.

After restarting your service, you may be able to continue working with your previous provider depending on availability.
