Note: The link to join your room will be valid for 24 hours. You can revoke or resend it if needed.
How to remove my partner from my couples therapy room
If your partner has already been added to an existing couples therapy room, they cannot be removed. If you're seeking individual therapy with your current provider, we recommend the following steps:
-
Determine if you're the primary or secondary partner.
The primary partner is the one who originally invited the other person to join the couples therapy room. Only the primary account holder can proceed with the next step, which is canceling the existing plan.
-
Cancel the couples therapy plan.
To cancel your current couples therapy plan, follow the steps in this article: How Do I Cancel My Subscription/Plan?
-
Add a new service
After cancelling the couples therapy plan, both you and the other individual can sign up for new services separately by following the steps in How Do I Add a New Service?
Depending on whether your existing provider offers the new service you choose (individual therapy or psychiatry), you may be able to continue with the same provider. If you're unable to match with the same provider and would like us to double-check if they're available, please submit a support request for assistance after adding the new service to your account.
