How Do I Update My Name, Date of Birth, Address, and Emergency Contact?

Updating date of birth

To update your date of birth, please contact Support and provide a copy of your ID. We'll use it to verify your identity and confirm your date of birth, as your age may affect your eligibility for our services.

Updating name

If you're using a benefits plan to access Talkspace, your Talkspace account name needs to match the name on your benefits plan.

You can update your name by following these steps:

1. Log in at www.talkspace.com or on the Talkspace app.
2. Click on Account () located on the top-right corner of the screen.
3. Click on Personal information.
4. Under My information, follow the prompt to update your name.

If you're unable to update it yourself, you can request a name change by contacting Support with a photo of your ID.

Updating home address and emergency contact

You can update your home address and emergency contact information directly in your account settings:

1. Log in at www.talkspace.com or on the Talkspace app.
2. Click on Account () located on the top-right corner of the screen.
3. Click on Personal information.
4. Under My information, click on Edit to update your home address.
5. Under Emergency contact, click on Edit to update your emergency contact's name, phone number, and relationship.
6. Update your information and press Save.
