Talkspace offers comprehensive telehealth treatment options, including therapeutic services and psychiatric care to meet all your needs. Explore the options below to find the best fit for you.
Therapists include psychologists, social workers, marriage and family therapists, and counselors; they're not able to prescribe medication. For this, Talkspace gives you the option to switch to psychiatry or sign up for psychiatry in addition to therapy, if desired.
We’re committed to offering you accessible, high-quality clinical care by licensed therapists at a great price. (Keep in mind: the average cost of a traditional in-person therapy session is $175 - $500 per session— a big departure from our plans!)

Talkspace has taken all legal requirements into consideration to support dependents/users ages 13-17. Each U.S. state has different requirements regarding what age necessitates parental consent to start therapy and whether the provider can disclose information to the parent/guardian without the adolescent’s consent. The vast majority of U.S. states require parental/guardian consent for a teen to enter into therapy and do not allow providers to share information with a teen client’s parent/guardian without official authorization and signed release. All Talkspace providers have familiarized themselves with the rules of their respective states.
There are specific exceptions to consent that vary by state, such as being an emancipated minor. If you believe that one of these exceptions might apply to you, please contact us at support@talkspace.com.
Like our adult clients, teen clients (ages 13-17) can connect with their provider through online real-time sessions and/or communicate in a secure, private room that is available 24/7, depending on the selected plan.

The psychiatry network consists of psychiatrists and nurse practitioners who are licensed medical providers specializing in mental health and medication management.
While Talkspace allows for seamless collaboration between therapy and psychiatry to provide comprehensive care, the two services are separate. You can, however, work with a psychiatrist in addition to maintaining your therapy subscription at Talkspace.

The flexibility of having Talkspace on your mobile device or desktop means you won’t have to find time for both of you to visit a provider’s office. It’s easier than waiting a week to remember what to talk about, and you won’t have to rearrange your lives or hire a babysitter!
Additional live sessions can be purchased for $65 per session should you use all sessions prior to your next billing renewal date.
Please note, due to different restrictions and requirements in different states, your Talkspace provider will provide the final determination on whether they can work with individuals in separate states.
